Bruce hits the turns at Road America and comes home a WINNER!
Bruce Hibbs, Jr was turning heads and gaining priceless knowledge this past week at Road America while logging in approximately 1400 miles of asphalt expertise. The instruction and direction provided by the Skip Barber staff proved to be beneficial in the key areas of tire management, drafting, and cornering techniques.
During a CNN interview with Juan Carlos Malmane Director/CEO, Bruce Jr was quoted on his thoughts of the overall experience; “It is my belief that any aspiring driver should attend this training, the knowledge has proven to be invaluable with the insight of 2 years of racing into one week!” The statement was later reinforced by the young Hibbs in the September 29th Regional Racing event as he drove his way to the front, taking on victory lane and earning both the win and title as Rookie of the Race.
Bruce Jr continues to admire the encouragement and leadership of both Jim Pace and Al Carter as he is confident that, placed in a properly prepared car, the opportunity and growth gained from their counsel will catapult his talents to the next level. Special thanks and gratitude to Jim Pace winner of last years 24 hr Rolex and the 12 hrs of Sebring what a great instructor to have teach you one on one with in car racing. I got alot from the private secsions I recieved from him. and also the entire Skip Barber staff. Thanks to Don,Bruce,Phil,Rob, Steve and all the others who helped me out. Bruce Jr. is now eligible for a National SCCA licence. He finished 10 and 1/2 seconds in front of second place and 24 seconds over third. With the high speed 4 mile track 14 corners and 31 shifts per round Hibbs showed he could get it done.

Once again the team was off to a track that they had never been to before. This was a trip to visit a good friend Ken Weaver who drives the #20 ARCA car and also to see some old friends. It was fantastic to be trackside to see a friend of ours visit victory lane in only his third ARCA start, Chase Miller. Chase - Way to Go! While there we saw Mr. Mike Calinoff for only a few minutes as he was spotting for David Stremme who was on the pole for the ARCA race. The race wasn't to kind to him as he had mechanical problems on the first lap which took him out of the competition. A faulty shifter was found to blame for the dissapointing run. Ken Weaver ran up front all day and too the checkers with a with a top 6 finish. While there, we invited Mr. Dave Nale to join us and he had a blast taking many photos throughout the afternoon. Once again we were able to meet and mix with more people in the business, meeting old friends and making new ones. We are looking forward to next year as we will be selling our dirt cars and equipment and moving on to asphalt racing to further Bruce Jr's career. We may do some late model dirt and/or dirt modified racing if the right opportunity presents itself. On the way home we stopped off at the Micro Sprint races at Airport speedway to witness furious racing action. Now it's time to concentrate on stats for the rest of the year. We will visit our friends in the big show at the Dover race in September. We will also be making ourselves available for future development in the business with the help of our driver development agent Mr Mike Calinoff.

2006
Looking Very Busy!
Date: January 26, 2006
This month has been a busy one with the team getting allot of things
ready for the up and coming 2006 season. We visited the Lake
Norman area and finished up our sponsorship plans for the year
with the Team Simpson drivers program. We want to thank Trish
Haggerty for all her help. While there we had the chance
to visit Hendrick Motorsports and had a great time. Very impressive.
We went to the Valley
Forge Motorsports show and was able to bring aboard Hammerhead
Promotions for all our web site updates and new and improved
designs for the site. They will also be doing all our printing of
hero cards. Mr. Dave Nale is a great guy and is very knowledgeable
of what is needed from a marketing approach to move forward
into the new era of racing. The team was approached by USAA Insurance to do a article on Bruce Jr for this year around
June 2006. The article should be sent out to about 5.5 million
policy holders for review. We are looking forward to the added
exposure and working with USAA to help them with there U-Turn
magazine. The team will be leaving for Daytona area on February
8th. We will be making a stop to see the World OF Outlaws race on
the 9th and 10th. We will then be going to Daytona for the
festivities. We want to be there to see the ARCA race. We will
return to Delaware on the 12th and get ready for the Motor
Rama show in Harrisburg which will be on the 18th and 19th
of February. Our new site should be up around the last week
of February. We are still looking for a major sponsor for the
Hooters Pro Cup Division for the 2007. If you know of anyone
who would be interested in this kind of exposure we would appreciate
you passing our name to them for future plans. Bruce jr will
be starting the year out in the 600 Sprints and we are hoping that
this will be his last year on Dirt. Best of luck to all and
we hope to hear from you all in the future. Thanks for all
your support.
